Abstract
The scholarly aftermath of the millennium of the death of St Wojciech encompasses a series of jubilee celebrations and publications that took place both in Poland and abroad. The 950th-anniversary jubilee of the martyrdom of St Wojciech occurred during a period of challenging socio-political conditions, yet it resulted in numerous publications. In the subsequent decades, research on the era, environment, personality, martyrdom, cult, and historical significance of St Wojciech has developed with varying dynamics, yielding some significant achievements. Despite the lack of comprehensive bibliographic compilations, a review of works, especially from the last 30 years, includes those that make a substantial contribution to the field of scholarship.
