Abstract

On October 21-22, 2003, a scientific symposium was held in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska entitled: 550 years of presence of the Order of Friars Minor (Province of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Bernardine Fathers) in Poland, 1453-2003. The main organizer of the symposium was Father Wiesław Franciszek Murawiec, OFM, professor of the Faculty of Church History of the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Krakow. During the two days of the symposium, 24 papers and announcements were presented.
