The purpose of the Act of 7 July 2023 Amending the Act on Spatial Planning and Development and Certain Other Laws was to simplify, unify and accelerate planning procedures. The above is to be achieved through new institutions such as the general zoning plan, integrated investment plan or simplified proceedings for the adoption or modification of a local zoning plan. The article briefly introduces and evaluates the most important changes introduced by the amendments to the Act on Planning and Spatial Development, and attempts to predict their impact on the implementation of RES projects.
