Legal and Criminal Protection of the Children and Implementation of Children’s Rights in Ukraine

Abstract

The author on the basis of the applicable Ukrainian law consistently considers the following four issues: 1) the importance of legal and criminal-law protection, as well as defending the rights of the children; 2) international acts and legal acts of Ukraine regarding legal protection and protection of children’s rights; 3) the current Criminal Code of Ukraine on the protection and ensuring the rights of the child; 4) directions and measures to prevent crimes against children.
