The article presents the philosophical and ideological context of the hundred-year history of the Archdiocese of Częstochowa. This history has been marked by a period dominated by the scientistic paradigm in philosophy and culture. Nevertheless, philosophy has continued to seek answers to fundamental human questions within the currents of phenomenology, existentialism, and the philosophy of being — within which modern Thomistic personalism emerged. When harmoniously integrated with the experience of faith, this personalism can provide an intellectual foundation for the full realization of the human being, both in the temporal and the supernatural dimensions.
