Territorial organisation of the Przemyśl diocese before the Partition of Poland (1375-1772)

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to outline the history of the Przemyśl diocese in the period before the Partition of Poland. It discusses the territorial organisation of all levels (parishes, deaneries, archdeaconries), in the case of parishes limited to their number, the division between higher organisational units and the problems connected with them, which characterised the diocese as a whole.
