Abstract

The purpose of this work is to commemorate the figure of the Latin Rite Bishop of Przemyśl, Józef Sebastian Pelczar, on the eve of the fiftieth anniversary of his death and the eightieth anniversary of the foundation of the Congregation of the Servants of the Sacred Heart. The work also presents the history and formation of the Congregation of the Servites of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from 1894 to 1939.
