This article is an attempt to present the results of research in the field of onomastics and a continuation of the exploration of nomenclature material in the field of religious anthroponymy. The aim of the analysis is to expand and complement the state of scientific research in the above-mentioned research area, because it concerns a hitherto unanalyzed research corpus, namely the religious names functioning in the 20th century in the religious house of Congregation of Sisters Canonesses of the Holy Spirit de Saxia (CSS) in Busko-Zdrój. The exploration will therefore concern the names of the nuns from Busko-Zdrój themselves, as well as their motivation. Moreover, the study focuses on etymological inquiries in the context of their frequency of use and functioning in religious and urban communities.
