The article describes the life of the clergy at the Radziwiłł's court in Nieśwież. It shows that the position of the clergy around Radziwiłł was very similar to that of the laity; the same demands were made on them as on other members of the Nieśwież court, and they were expected to be loyal and competent in fulfilling their duties. For religious reasons, the clergy were not entitled to any privileges or favours from their patron.
