The subject of this study is the library of Father Prof. Alphonse Schletz, editor of Our Past, and everything that made up his workbench. The clerical bookshelf became the core of the future library, while the archive consisted of lecture notes. The library managed to collect around 7,000 printed works. The personal reading notes of the editor gave rise to the archival collection, as over time the scholarly workshop was enriched with manuscripts according to the interests of the collector.
