Przez oścień i słabość do mocy i łaski. Słowo Pana w 2 Kor 12,9… jako retoryczno-teologiczny klimaks pawłowej „mowy głupca”

Abstrakt

W dzisiejszej biblistyce użycie metody retorycznej do analizy Corpus Paulinum pozwala na zrozumienie nie tylko struktury Pawłowych listów, ale także używanej terminologii i stojącej za nią teologii Apostoła Narodów. „Mowa głupca” zawarta w 2 Kor 11-12 zmierza ku swojemu szczytowemu punktowi, jakim jest rzadkie w listach Pawłowych słowo Pana (Herrenwort): „Wystarczy ci mojej łaski, moc bowiem w słabości się doskonali” (2 Kor 12,9). Artykuł, bazując na założeniach metody retorycznej, podejmuje analizę perykopy 2 Kor 12,7-10 i użytych przez Pawła par terminów σκόλοψ – ἀσθένεια i δύναμις – χάρις, by rzucić światło na jej teologiczną interpretację. Użycie słowa Pana jako sententia okazuje się być kluczem do przeprowadzenia synkrisis zarówno Pawła z Chrystusem, jak i z adresatami listu, a nawet z każdym chrześcijaninem.
