The first mention of the parish in Starokrzepice dates back to 1267. After the declaration of Vixdum Poloniae unitas bull of 28th of October 1925 by Pope Pius XI the diocesan stuctures in Poland were reorganized. At that time the parish in Starokrzepice was excluded from the Diocese of Wrocław and incorporated into the Diocese of Kujawy and Kalisz. In 1904 Rev. Jan Patorski became a parish priest. The most important events in this period were the fire of the larch church of 20th of October 1908 and building a new brick church (in the years 1909-1912) and its dedication of 16th of May 1913. This act was made by Bishop Stanisław Zdzitowiecki. The next 110 years of parish activity were based on the centuries-old religious heritage of the people who were united around the stately church.
