The Sisters of Nazareth came to Grodno in September 1908 at the invitation of the Archbishop of Vilnius, Edward Ropp, to take over the church and monastery of the Bridget Sisters and begin apostolic activity. In the year of their arrival, the last member of the order, which had settled here since 1636, died. The article briefly presents the history of the foundation of the Brigidines Aleksandra and Krzysztof Wiesiołowski, focusing primarily on the 100-year history of the house of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. By the will of the Church, the Sisters of Nazareth became the heirs of the former foundation of the Brigid Sisters.
