Volume 28 of Our Past contains a selection of the writings of Fr Honorat Koźmiński. Honorat in the light of his writings. For most of his life, confined to the monastery, he was interested in almost all the phenomena and problems of his time. Deeply involved and attentive to everything that served or could harm the divine cause, he never for a moment abandoned the possibility of influencing society. Deprived of the possibility of external action, he contacted those under his influence by letter. This gave rise to an extensive correspondence comprising tens of thousands of letters, only some of which have survived.
The present collection contains the following items:
I. Letters to religious and diocesan authorities.
II. Letters to religious and diocesan priests.
III. Letters to the Sisters of the Congregations founded by them.
IV. Letters to various persons.
V. Extracts from the clerical diary.
VI. Explanations of Congregations Hidden from the World.
VII. Sermons.
VIII. Legislative texts.
