This short article presents the Catholic charitable activities in the area of the Diocese of Katowice in the first years after the Second World War. The following activities are characterised: care for repatriates and refugees, assistance to people directly affected by the war, care for children, young people and the elderly, hospitality and work in parish Caritas branches.
