Among the over a thousand 16th-century publications collected in the library of the Krakow Convent of Regular Lateran Canons is the "Calendarium historicum" published in 1550 in Basel by Paweł Eber. This is a copy of one of the editions of the "eternal" calendar, which allowed it to be used for many years, and therefore by its owners changing over time. Based on the notes contained in the canonical copy, one can try to reconstruct the fate of the book and the people associated with it. The first Latin provenance notes date back to 1551. The undoubted owners of the Calendar were: Wawrzyniec Gembicki, the Discalced Carmelites, and, of course, the regular canons. The original binding is made of calfskin, blind embossed, in the center there is a pierced super bookplate, embossed title and binding date.
