Abstract

This article provides some information on behaviors that tend to lead forensic experts astray. In the area of forensic techniques these behaviors are caused by the progressive commercialization of expressing opinions: opinions, which had been paid service of process are now considered as an economic activity. Some pseudo-academic institutions had produced a generation of very incompetent postgraduates who lack vital research and analytical skills. This situation generated socalled “experts”: we are dealing with incompetent “forensic experts” who do not have the qualifications, skills or knowledge. They can be low-paid so they are employed during preparatory proceedings. Fortunately, the district courts still retain the appropriate specialists.
