This article concerns the regulatory proceedings initiated against former real estate belonging to the Muslim Religious Union in the Republic of Poland. The proceedings concern three real estate in the localities of Podlaskie Region. The author also presents the principles of operation of the Church Regulatory Commission based on the provisions of the Polish Act on the Guarantees of Freedom of Conscience and Religion and the Regulation on the detailed procedure of regulatory proceedings before the Church Regulatory Commission. The description of individual cases reflects the specificity of these proceedings as compared to other administrative proceedings.
At the same time, important aspects were also presented, such as the issues of the legal existence of the Muslim Religious Union in the Republic of Poland, which was the applicant for this procedure, which lasted twenty years.
