The effectiveness of acquiring specialist lexical material in English as a foreign language. The results of a research experiment comparing the efficiency of the traditional method and the blended-learning formula

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the results of the experiment measuring the effectiveness of specialist vocabulary acquisition. The research compares the traditional approach and the use of blended-learning methods in teaching specialist lexical items. The first part presents the concept of blended-learning. The further part is devoted to the experiment itself,  followed by the  analysis of the obtained results.
