Abstract

The article highlights a number of phenomena that make up religious and moral life. They took place almost over a period of two hundred years (1600- 1783). This is about an area where different influences crossed. Rusyns and Poles lived there together. Hungarian influence could also be observed. Merchants from various countries stopped there. One could meet craftsmen from Bavaria and masters from Milan. At the same time, there was an area where the drive of the Tartars and other enemies from the neighborhood ended. Taking all this into account, one must caveat that this study certainly contains many simplifications. All the more so because it is about a life that was constantly undergoing change. This development took place in a specific space and time.
