We currently know 15 documents from Jadwiga, wife of King Władysław the Elbow-high, princess and from 1320 queen of Poland. Five of them come from the years 1312-1330, when she ruled in the vicinity of Łokietek and Kraków, and ten diplomas were created in the years 1333-1339, when she stayed in the Poor Clare monastery in Stary Sącz. The documents issued by Jadwiga came from the years 1333-1339 and were of an operational nature, most often concerning economic matters. The majority of recipients were lay people, especially mayors who had recently been granted the right to lease. Most of the ruler's diplomas were prepared by her notaries and personal officials, as evidenced by sources from 1312, who may also have served as chaplains and confessors. The participation of the Łokietek Law Firm in the work on Jadwiga's documents is minimal, but the form of the document from two senders contains many common elements.
