Jacek Augustyn Łopacki, doctor of theology, philosophy and medicine, archpriest of St Mary's Church, cathedral canon, dean of the collegiate church in Sandomierz, parish priest in Poprad, occupies a prominent place in the history of 18th century Krakow. He was an exemplary pastor and at the same time an outstanding physician and social activist. The subject of this article is his activity as a patron of the arts.
