A number of issues relating to the Kielce diocese and its functioning have already been developed and published. However, the latest works do not include authors dealing with religious orders in this area in the 19th century. The development of the fate of men's and women's orders in the Kielce diocese, as well as in other dioceses of the Kingdom of Poland, depended in the 19th century on many external factors: economic, social, and mainly political. In addition to the process of liquidation of old religious formations, which manifested itself in the years 1819, 1864-1866 and later, at the end of the 19th century we are dealing with the phenomenon of the emergence of new congregations, their structure adapted to the existing political conditions.
