On this article is showed one of the most important genre of the culinary discourse like to recipe. The aim of this work is the lingual determinants of this genre. In the first part of text is point out on pragmatic aspect of genre such as: dictionary definition of recipe, sending-receiving situation, function of this genre and acts of speech politeness. Second show the structural aspects: title, ingredients, weight and volume measures, description and non-verbal aspect of recipe. The article ends with a summary of the content of the text.
