The article presents the history of the Latin parish of Gródek from 13th June 1420 to the end of the 18th century. At the beginning, the geographical location of the parish is described, its size and place in the organisational structures of the church. After the analysis of the post-visitation protocols of the Chełm (Culm) bishops an attempt has been made to present the appearance of the Gródek church and its furnishings in the period in question. A list of 15 priests connected with the Gródek church has been recreated and the benefice of the rectors has been determined. In the subsequent part of the article the fraternity functioning at the church is reviewed. An attempt at determining the number of churchgoers has been made. Charity institutions for the poor and the sick in Gródek is discussed as well as the school founded in accordance with the directives of the Fourth Council of the Lateran.
