Hereby article is an attempt to analyse the meaning carried by the fresco, which is located in the sacristy of the cathedral in Pelplin. Its rounded shape and position in this room (earlier may have been on the outside facade ) gives only limited interpretation possibilities. It seems important to precise where exactly the original sacristy was placed . It cannot be ruled out that the fresco and visible next to it two dates, have connection with cemetery which previously existed by the church. The case of next to church cemetery, which was never mentioned before, was also analysed.
The fresco was also analysed in case of cupmarks which existed on the walls of Pelplin cathedral, also in relation to the significance of directions of the world in Christian symbolism, wheel and number three symbolism. These symbols can be connected with the fresco and in the same can explain its meaning.
