The article concerns the Corpus Christi parish school in Kazimierz in Kraków in the first half of the 16th century, based on data from the Krakow Archdiocesan Archives. This school, founded in 1405, was one of the most important scientific centers in Krakow in the second half of the 17th century. In the second decade of the 16th century, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski studied there. Although the literature on this school is rich, only Fr. Damian Wojtyska. In the 15th century, the Corpus Christi School occupied a leading position among Christian schools in Kazimierz. Its managers were famous masters of the University of Krakow, such as Stanisław Selig from Krakow and Michał from Nowe Miasto. The school employed rectors, cantors and other teachers, as well as stokers. Most of the rectors had academic titles, which proved the high status of the school. There is no data on the curriculum, but it can be assumed that it was better implemented than in other schools in Krakow. The Corpus Christi School was considered prestigious, which is confirmed by the fact that in 1525 Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski attended it before starting his university studies.
