Abstract

The article considers the pragmatic aspect of meaning. The analysis is based on Russian and Polish phraseology which has a positive or negative emotional evaluation. This analysis helps to resolve various problems with lexicographical labels and creates a new improved system of expressive labels. The authors argue that emotional evaluation can be objectively defined. A new type of classification based on GLT (lexical-thematic groups) is offered.
