
The aim of the article is to present and formally analyze the language units used by former prisoners of the Majdanek concentration camp referring to broadly understood torture instruments. The analysis included 15 units, among which borrowings from German, word-formation neologisms created on the basis of German, semantic neologisms (neosemantisms) created on the basis of metaphor or concretization of meaning, and phraseological neologisms – expressions. The reality of this concentration camp was expressed in the language used by the prisoners of Majdanek.
