In the Regional Museum in Pyzdry (a town on the Warta River) there are sixteenth-century handwritten language monuments (of the Polish language). The monuments contain the content of town privileges from Pyzdry (second half of the 16th century). The article contains a short description of the privileges concerning the royal city of Pyzdry. The historical monuments were analyzed in the context of documented linguistic phenomena in Wielkopolska (with particular emphasis on regional features).
