The subject of this article is the productivity of Kashubian interjection as a derivational base. All word-formation active interjections recorded in the Dictionary of Kashubian Dialects against the Background of Folk Culture [Słownik gwar kaszubskich na tle kultury ludowej] by Bernard Sychta were collected and examined. The most important word-formation tendencies within the discussed collection were indicated, the implemented word-formation models were identified, and the rich Kashubian material was illustrated with examples of selected word-formation nests. It was found that Kashubian interjections are an important component of the lexical-word-formation subsystem, demonstrating significant activity and building chains and word-formation nests.
