Saint Catherine's Church in Cracow

Abstract

The Gothic building of St Catherine's Church and the Augustinian Monastery is a beautiful example of 14th century architecture. The history of the temple's origin is closely connected with the early history of the town of Kazimierz. After outlining the history of the temple, the article presents an architectural description of the building. In particular, the reader is introduced to the fresco of Our Lady of Consolation in the cloister of the Augustinian Monastery in Cracow
