125 years of the history of St Notburga’s House in Racibórz was strictly connected with stormy and eventful period in the city and in Silesia region in XIX and XX century. In this period of time the House changed its activities character, but always was the place of sisters calling’s realization. The phenomenon of the Assembly of Mary Immaculate Sisters House’s existence in Upper Silesia is the fact, that this house exists independently of political maelstroms and national frontiers changes. The Silesians, the Germans (till the II World War) and the Poles took the profits from this house largely. St Notburga House in Racibórz is particular in social and religious meaning and is worthy of the researchers like historians and contemporary scholars notice. The different studies and scientific research should be done to popularize the valuable heritage made by Marian nuns and their charges. This heritage is universal and important in the Christian and human spirituality created in Racibórz.
