Abstract

The article describes the turbulent history of the dissolution of the Immaculate Convent in Jazłowiec. For the Congregation this institution was of exceptional importance, as it was the first seat of the Congregation in the Polish lands since 1863. After describing the situation of the Jazlowiec Convent in 1944-1946, 9 documents are presented, which illustrate the drama of that period.
