The basic legal regulations regarding the construction of the parish were adopted in the so-called constitutional period of the Kingdom of Poland. These were: 1. Royal Decree of 6/18. March 1817, which concerned church supervision and rules for the maintenance of church buildings; 2. Order of the royal governor of January 3, 1818 on the principles of dividing funds for church construction projects; 3. Royal Decree of December 25, 1823/January 6, 1824, which reproduces the provisions of the Decree of December 6/18. A specific synthesis of legal provisions regarding the construction of churches was the Decree on the Construction and Renovation of Sacred Buildings of Catholic Communes of 1844.
